Network Marketing success comes from knowing how to gather customers.
Why is this true? Well put simply, customers are what generate the income that allows all the people in the network to be paid.
Without genuine customers there isn’t the cash-flow for people to make a living. There is no Network Marketing success.
In many countries of the world, a Network Marketing business isn’t legal if it doesn’t have
customers.
Ultimately, that’s why the Network Marketing companies pay us. If you just think about it for a few minutes, if they could gather all
the customers they needed without us, then most companies would probably do this. I’m referring to the legal companies here, not those that
make their money from selling training and the like to the network.
You may be asking yourself – ‘what about recruiting?’ Well – yes - if you want to build a team you clearly have to recruit, but what do
you then do with these new people?
Before we get to that, let’s first go for a little walk in history. I find that many of the attitudes and teachings in Network Marketing
are based on what was true 10 or more years ago. Even as little as 10 years ago it was quite easy to build a Networking
business focusing primarily on recruiting. The world has definitely moved on.
One of the big shifts that has happened is that it’s become much harder to find and retain good downlines members. I invite you to think
about is the new team members you’ve recently introduced. In the new MLM paradigm, focus is on team members not on us. We're there to
help them build the businesses they want.
Because it’s much harder now to recruit good people, your new business Partners members will have more difficulty in building a downline. So
how do we help them? Simple - we teach them to find customers as much as new team members. These customers will result
in distributors getting paid. They now have income and the resources to keep going long enough for them to find people for their own
downlines.
So, to summarise this Network Marketing article, we need to know how to gather customers and to teach others to do the same, because this is
where the money comes from that will ultimately pay us. If the companies could gather the customers using some slick automated systems,
then it’s likely they would have done so before now. So we are needed by the companies.
And finally we need to teach new team members how to gather customers so that they then have the financial resources to stay in the game long
enough to build their own teams.
