How to most effectively build your Network Marketing organization.
How do you most effectively build your Network Marketing Organization?
The answer is simple. One person at a time!
All you need to do is to look for one more customer and one more business builder. In the case of the business builder you
can then focus on helping them to become established, and take the time to help them to build their business in the way that's right for
them.
Now contrast this with what so many people say you need to do. A common message is that you have to recruit five people a
month. Let's think about this for a moment. If you're focusing on recruiting five each month, then your
main focus lies on the fifth person. That means that the first four people you recruit can end up carrying less importance to
you. After all - you can't stop to look after them until you have your five! However unintentional, this is likely to show
through in your attitude towards them.
If you understand the origins of these instructions it becomes much clearer why the one at a time method works so well. The
reason you need to recruit five is because the attrition rate when you don't look after people is very high. But the thing
that will build your business the quickest and most stable way is not to focus on how many people you can recruit, but how many people you can
retain each month.
If you've ever had the unfortunate experience of being in a car when it skids, then you probably know that if you look at what the car
is skidding towards, then the odds are you will hit it. However, and this is what the driving instructors teach, if you put your focus on where
you WANT the car to go, then it's far more likely that you will be able to control it and avoid hitting the obstacle.
So - the power of our intention has a major impact on the results we get. Thus, if our attention is on recruiting five
because we know so many will drop out, then that’s what we’ll get!
If, on the other hand, we’re focusing on finding just one person and helping them to get it right, it’s much more likely that this will
happen and that both parties will be successful.
